Williamsburg Towne Houses Cooperative is located in St Clair Shores, at the corner of Masonic Blvd. (aka 13 1/2 Mile) and Harper Ave. There are 206 units in which the cooperative owns the land, the buildings, and common areas. Unlike your typical apartment or condo, members are the co-owners of the whole property. The community was built in 1964 as an economical choice in housing. Members of the cooperative live in and run the cooperative community. A ‘Member’ means you own a share in the cooperative entitling you to live in a specific unit. ‘Members’ sell their share at market rate, and share loans are available for those approved to purchase a unit.
